Decorating your room with blinds

Now-a-days use of blinds in windows is a very common thing that we see in most of the modern houses. But the concept of blind is not a new concept. Blinds were very much popular in 1930s and ‘40s when they were known as venetian blinds. It was a wooden two inch painted slat which was quite difficult to clean. Then in 80’s came the concept of aluminum blinds which had one inch slat. But blinds were discovered much before than this. So what we are exactly trying to say is that blinds are in use for a longer period till today due to some particular reasons:

·        Blinds give the window a definite style and an elegant look.

·        Blinds give privacy to the rooms when they are closed.

·        Light can be controlled with the help of blinds as required in the room.

·        Blinds resemble shutters without costing as much as shutters.

·        Blinds are up and off the floor which helps in cleaning the floor without any difficulties.
